serge in the studio
i'm sick. i guess it finally got me, probably because i've been through so much stress and sadness these days. because of this i've been in bed most of the day but i also escaped to the studio to do some work as making art can always make me feel better. i worked on a box experimenting with printing band aids onto it and also started the jacket in these photos with a serge gainsbourg image on the back. i had been wanting to paint a jean jacket for a while and am loving it. it's different than painting shirts, i actually think i like it more. i've stopped for the day because i'm feeling pretty awful and am dreading this can become a bronchitis unless i take really good care of myself, i hope i can finish it tomorrow if i'm feeling better.
i also started the process of selling my cards, (the ones i uploaded here) to a museum shop and a store. i'm hoping something will work out and i will have at least a bit more income. god i feel so sick, time to take some tea...p.s. i submitted my application to LMCC Workspace Program and i'm proud i did it no mater what the outcome is. now i have to prepare a very different application for cooper union. i need to not get more sick!
