today my body just did in the studio without really consulting my mind. this is one of the things that came out. i have used this printfoam plate of the body bag in other pieces, i started printing it on krafft paper and then thought it could look good on a grocery bag, at the same time i didn't want to use any grocery bag, it had to have been used by me. i also have some prints on dean and deluca bags that look really good but i need more of their bags to work with them. so it was a fun day at the studio. i think this is going somewhere, sewing these together sounds like a good idea.

i also submitted my wojnarowicz postcard today, i titled it 'close to the knives", the name came from a conversation i had with g, it's the title of one of wojnaorowicz's books. i had a hard time submitting it, i really wanted to keep that piece, it's precious to me.
