i´m going back to the jellyfish, last year i did a sketch of some jellyfish as background for a thom yorke portrait, but now i'm using it for different reasons.

i was initially attracted to their weird beauty, then looked up their symbolism and they made even more sense: "[jellyfish symbolize] sensitivity to water energy (emotions), understanding of the value of floating rather than swimming through trying emotional times, proper use of softness (not being rigid), ability to become untangled from the webs of peril in life, acceptance and faith."

after i finish this drawing i will make a stencil for a jellyfish and then play with it. i am adding some clouds to this drawing; the jellyfish swims in the skies... i will post a photo when i finish drawing them.
